Hooked Nose Correction (Aquiline)

web 16mar closeup1.1

A hooked (Aquiline) nose is a nose with a protruding middle section. For a man, a slight hooked nose can give a masculine look. For a woman, however, the hooked nose can be unappealing.

Surgery Method

This condition can be corrected with Spreader grafts that are used to effectively reconstruct an internal nasal valve that may have deteriorated. Spreader grafts are made from a patient's own septum cartilage and are placed on each side of the septum. These grafts are important to prevent midnasal collapse as well as to restore airflow through the nose.
